On Friday, March 21, 2003 the York Radio Club, in cooperation with the 
WAYFAR Repeater Club of Chicago,
will host a weather spotting program which is presented by SKYWARN of 
Melrose Park, Illinois.

The seminar will take place at the Elmhurst College basement auditorium on 
Prospect and Elm Streets
in Elmhurst, Illinois.  A very comprehensive slide program followed by a 
question and answer
session will start at 8 PM

The guest speaker will be a representative of the Chicago National Weather 
Service Office,
located in Romeoville, Illinois.  Learn how tornadoes and other severe 
weather phenomena form
and how the National Weather Service is improving its capabilities to warn 
the public about severe weather.


All amateur radio operators as well as the general public are cordially 
invited to participate in this free seminar.
Anyone interested in weather will find this program highly informative and 
very interesting.
