Metro Amateur Radio Club (MAC) is again offering its Technician license
course with Morse code instruction. The course will be held in Niles,
Illinois, one night a week beginning February 4, from 7 to 9 PM. The course
runs for eight sessions and culminates with a group test session.
The course will include lectures, code practice, video and hands-on
presentations and is taught by an experienced instructor. Students will be
expected to complete reading assignments and practice code at home. The
material covered will prepare the student for a Technician class amateur
radio license with Morse code endorsement. The written license exam contains
35-questions and the code test is at 5-w.p.m.
Students have ranged in age from 11 to 83. Here's a picture of our Fall 2002
