Program for Next Meeting
Chris Cieslak, KC9L will give a presentation on the use of PIC
microcontrollers in amateur radio projects (e.g., QRP rigs). Chris returns
to MAC after giving a terrific presentation on ATV (amateur television) with
a radio-controlled car.
Chris has an extensive and varied ham background. He won a logo design
competition for the ARRL's "Big Project." A ham since 1992, Chris says he
does some design work for Web and print but mostly writes for a living.
"I've been doing design for about seven years and am self-taught," he said.
His amateur interests include homebrewing and kit building, as well as HF
mobile and amateur television (ATV). "I also perform improv comedy and am a
huge Chicago Bears fan," he reports.
