Good day!
I wish to announce that the DuPage Amateur Radio Club (D.A.R.C.), with 
members from throughout the western Chicago suburbs, will be an exhibitor at 
the Downers Grove Heritage Festival this coming weekend, Sat. June 29 and 
Sun. June 30.

The Downers Grove Heritage Festival is an annual event which draws over 
100,000 attendees.  It's a family-oriented event featuring many rides, games, 
food vendors and exhibits from community organizations.  This is the first 
time D.A.R.C. has participated in Heritage Festival, and we'll attempt to 
show the public the many facets of our hobby/service and inform passersby 
about our club's activities.  We'll have an attractive booth and will be 
giving away lots of cool stuff!  Please come on by and say hello if you're 
coming to Heritage Festival!

We'll also be demonstrating both old and new equipment so please talk-in to 
our booth on either of the D.A.R.C. repeaters:  our 2m machine at 145.25 MHz 
(neg shift, 107.2 PL) or our 440 machine at 442.55 MHz (pos shift, 114.8 PL). 
 We also might try some 10m phone and you may find us parked at 28.350 MHz.  
Give us a holler.............we need contacts into our booth!

Again, D.A.R.C. will be at the Downers Grove Heritage Festival from 10:00 
a.m. to 10:30 p.m. this Sat., June 29 and again from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. 
this Sun., June 30.  We hope to see --- or hear --- you!
