Edward Dervishian 
                             
Edward Dervishian (W9VSU), born in Turlock, CA., Aug 27, 1916,
at rest July 28, 2002, beloved husband of Marguerite, nee Bates;
cherished father of Deanna (Robert) Hedrick and James E. (Joleen)
Dervishian; loving grandfather of Erick Hedrick, John O. and Jami A.
Dervishian; dearest son of the late Astor K. and Nurita Dervishian,
nee DerCaprelian; dear brother of Helen (the late James A.) Bright
and the late Mary Dervishian; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews
and brother-in-law of six. Visitation Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m.
with services at 8 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N.
Cicero Avenue. Interment private. Ed served as the last personal
assistant to the late Dr. Lee de Forest, he also served as a WWII
Navy Radar Inspector. He was a 20 year Motorola employee and a
15 year Motorola Retiree. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Research, 77 E. Monroe
Street, 12th Floor, Chicago, IL 60603 would be appreciated.
