[IDham] Introduction

Hello:

Just wanted to say that I found this list -- and why :-)

I'm a (very) new ham, from PA, who is looking to move to ID.

We've been looking from the mid-south border (Twin Falls),
up and over Boise,
and up the east border from Moscow to Lewiston/Coeur d'Alene.

The final spot will be driven by finding work in one of those
areas; which hasn't been found yet; so we are still working
on it.

Water access, esp. during an emergency scenario, is a driver
as well.  Schools really are as well.

Anyway, I'm hoping to meet some folks to trade some thoughts,
as we work our way there.

One related question would be -- what is a
recommended 2m, 70cm high-gain antenna?
