I also have a 756 pro 111 has failed the same way
No outpower on transmit everything else seems to work fine.
In fact if I transmit I can hear on my other radios just fine.
Meter says no the bird watt meter says now and my LP 100A says no output.
Might take it apart and see what the pre driver and drivers and output are
doing.
Just seems strange I am the original owner of this radio bought when it
first came out purchased
>From HRO in Anaheim Ca.
Been a great radio till now LOL

Subject: [ICOM] ICOM 746 pro

Need help in finding a place to have my 746 PRO repaired. Looking for a
place in the Illinois area or mid West.

Problem is no transmit, all else seems OKAY. Internet search gives problem
in and final area that is a common problem.
had information on th repair but at age 87 eyes and soldering a cramp PC
board is now out of question. It's hell to get old at times.
I get transmit light on when trying to transmit. No output when trying to
transmit.

If someone out there can provide repair place or person that is dependable,
I would be very appreciative.

Thank You in advance for any help you can provide me.
