[ICOM] IC-7300 Price Drop?

I could also be, since the IC-7300 has been offered for roughly 7 years,
that sales have leveled off or have started to decline. Icom may have a
warehouse full of these things and wants to move them. Sitting around not
moving inventory is not good for the bottom line. So, offer the dealers a
good price (a lower cost to them then the traditional pricing) on buying
"X" number of IC-7300's. Dealers can generally make up the new price
differential by pushing more accessory products. 

It could also be that Icom may be announcing a new entry level SDR HF 100
watt transceiver (replacement for the IC-7300??) very soon and may want
to move out as much of the older inventory as they can.
