Use a network analyzer or a spectrum analyzer with a tracking generator or a separate signal generator and a spectrum analyzer.

Hello

A friend installed a filter into his IC-746 and it's not working.

Assuming he followed the procedure etc,  is there any way I can test the
filter  external to the radio to see if it's working (or at least not dead)
?
