Icom IC-290 Multimode 2 m transceiver:

I have an Icom IC-290 available. The receiver
works well, and it puts out full power, both on
FM and SSB. The display is great.

It does have a couple minor problems that
would have only minor effects.
Apparently it was dropped in shipping.

As far as I can tell, the NB button does not work.

The M/R button is stiff, and sometimes works
and sometimes does not.

The "Call" button acts like the PTT switch,
i.e. it goes into transmit when pushed.

Cosmetically, it is in very nice condition.
It includes hand mic, power cord, and manual
for only $75

Icom PS-20 Deluxe Power Supply / Speaker Combo:

The Icom PS20 is an external 20 amp switching power supply.
It can work with most any rig in the 100 Watt class, although
it was designed specifically for the IC-551, IC-701 and IC-720.
Even though this is a switching type power supply, it does
not have any noticeable switching noise. It is exceptionally
well shielded, both with mechanical shielding, and
multiple filtering on all leads.

This device delivers up to 20 amps at 50% duty cycle. It has a
built-in speaker.

This one works fine. It looks exceptionally nice.
With paper work for $120.

ICOM PP-1 Vintage Speaker and Phone Patch:

This is a very nice Icom speaker, similar to the
SP-3, but with a phone patch added. It functions
as a nice speaker if you do not need the phone
patch portion.

The phone patch portion permits one to connect
their station (both transmit and receive) to the
phone line.

It is just the right accessory to complete your
vintage ICOM station, or use it just for the speaker.

This one works fine. It has connectors for round
Icom 8 pin mics, and a modular phone line connector.

Cosmetically, it looks extremely nice.
Buy it with paper work for only $50.

Icom FL-96 Crystal Filter:

The following filter is used in the 455 KHz IF.
It fits a very wide variety of Icom rigs, including the
IC-703, IC-718, IC-736, IC-738, IC-746, IC-751, IC-756,
IC-780, IC-781, IC-R75, IC-R8500, and probably others.

Icom FL-96, 2800 Hz, used for wide SSB, $110

Icom Boom Headset / Switchboxes:

Icom HS-10 Boom Headset Combo
This unit has an earphone for listening,
and a boom mic for talking. It is terminated
in a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) stereo connector.
It does not include PTT functions. PTT is
provided by the appropriate switch box
(below).
Works and looks fine. $15

Icom HS-10 SB Switchbox
Use with HS-10 above. Has dual 3.5 mm and
2.5 mm connectors to plug into many HTs.
Hooks to belt and provides PTT functions,
and gain control.
Looks and works fine. $15

Icom HSA-2 SB Switchbox
Similar to HS-10 SB above.
Has regular and momentary PTT
switch just like the HS-10 SB above.
Looks and works fine. $15

Rig Programming Software/hardware:

These days the rigs have so many memories plus
other features, that it is almost impossible
to program them manually. This takes care of
this problem, by letting you use the computer to
program.
