Hi.

I have tried all the usual  things. The power supply is fine, a bNOs 
40Asupply. The inline fuses are ok and it is not in transmit, although 
that would not show this particular problem.

   I disposed of all my test gear years ago, so a waste of time me 
taking the top off!

There is an engineer locally who fixes rigs, so I shall take it to him.

Many thanks for the suggestions though.
