[ICOM] Relay for IC-7100 driving a linear amp

Look for something like "amp relay cable" on eBay. I use a device called an Amp Keyer but they are no longer in business. MFJ might sell one too.

Check the voltage and current of the Alpha relay and the specs of the Icom.

If it’s 12 volts, you might be able to key directly.  Although, it’s not a real bad idea to have a interface.

You do need a relay for the old Drake and Heath amps with 110 volt switching.
