I am not sure what to ask for it to be honest. I have been trying to
determine what it is really worth. The radio works perfectly well on
receive, but the transmit side is not currently functional as the power
supply regulator board is not up to specification.
Cosmetically, the rig is near perfect except for a couple of light scuffs on
the side from a speaker hitting it. The CRT is perfect too. It's a very
late serial number rig.
I have seen fully functional rigs sell for $1100 to $1700, however the
condition on the lower priced rig was only good. The upper priced rig was
excellent. Although both were functional, they both would need the power
supply regulator board updated as this is a very common failure point at
some point as mine now needs. So the value? It's a crap shoot I guess on
putting a good number on it.
What would be your thoughts?
