I have used Icom 706's and now the IC7000 and have a Toggle Switch to a IN
out Relay that all the radio equipment goes thru. Never a Battery problem.

This is a seldom-used vehicle. I might not use it in 10-20 days at times. I
once had this truck battery go very low after extended non-use, maybe a
month, and never did determine why. Radio was constantly connected then.
Batteries will self-discharge, so maybe that did it then.

to measure but my cheap meter made the 7000 clickety-click with no constant
