[ICOM] IC271, IC471, IC1271, etc update

Thank you all for your suggestions, those were the ones I already 
researched b4 I put up my request. I spent several hours running 
searches in DuckDuckGo and as a last resort I used Goggle (hate it). 
Went down 9 pages in Goggle's results.

Molex shows the item as DISCONTINUED, no longer manufactured.

All the other domestic suppliers (Mouse, Digikey, etc ) may list the 
part but look at the quantity in stock 0, zip, nada, zilch or not available.

The seller here in NJ, did get back to me, they only relisted the item 
as a "favor" to one it's customers in Utah who did not have it anymore.

I checked out Swatee and concluded that they were someone I would not 
attempt to do business with. See the FB page and what folks have posted 
about them. They also had no contact info or location where they were in 
the world on the website. All RED flags to not do business with them.

Any supplier that claimed to have any in stock would not provide prices, 
only that you send in an RFQ which tells me that they won't deal in 
quantities of less than 5.

The source in Hong Kong was the only one that I ran across that may 
really have them.

HOWEVER given the current climate in the DC Cess Pool, I just got a 
notice that the US was pulling out of an international agreement with 
other countries post offices that WILL result in hidden ADDITIONAL 
charges that they buyer would have to pay the USPS or shipper when it 
reaches the US, before a shipment is delivered. If you never have sold 
anything overseas you would not know about what the PO in the buyers 
country charges them to deliver the item. It's not free.

Since Molex no longer makes the shells, I had hoped that someone may 
have found a suitable replacement source for the 24 pin shells. Not even 
the clone makers in China are making them.

Guess I'll have to now start searching old clothes washers/dryers, video 
games to see if I can scrounge up a used one, since the male/female pins 
are still avail.
