Check the fuses, check the clips at the ends of the fuses inside the 
holders, they are known to be flakey, make sure you have voltage at the ends 
of the wires, make sure the connector on the cable side (female) is tight, 
there were many notorioulsy bad runs on the connectors where they would 
expand under load, arc and burn, then have poor contact with the radio.
