[ICOM] 7851 receive antenna setup

I want to use a receive antenna loop for 160M on my 7851, but I’m not sure about the best connection:  should I use Ant. 4 SO-239 or RX-ANT-A BNC connector?  When a common antenna is selected on the MAIN and SUB bands, different RX-I/O settings cannot be used.  I would like to have the ability to receive on either the transmit or the receive antenna.  I’m sure someone has already figured this out with the 7851 or the 7800.  What are you using?  Any suggestions?
