[ICOM] IC-25H schematic of service manual needed.

That rig was before my time at Icom America from 1989 to 2001. The 
difference between the 25A and H should be very little other than the 
final amp so far as I remember. The E is the European version and it 
should be very little difference, maybe frequency coverage as some 
countries did not allow one to use 144-148 MHz.

Follow the power switch in the schematic I suspect you will find the 
issue. So far as factory mods to do that I can not remember any mods. I 
do remember you needed a BU1 battery back-up to retain memories. It did 
use a higher amplified mic like a HM-7, HM-8 or SM-8 set to H. The newer 
mics do not generally have enough output to properly drive the radio.
