[ICOM] Wave Files not keying IC746 VOX

Trying to get my IC746 to transmit using the VOX when a Wave file is played
from the computer.  The 746 does work when the "TRANSMIT" button on the
front panel is engaged and the function key is pressed.  Then the Wave file
will drive the radio to full output and sounds good when listening using
the built in monitor on the 746.  Also, VOX works without pushing the
"TRANSMIT" button using a microphone.

The wave file comes from the computer into the 746 via ACC1, pin 4.
