Maybe 'BU' -- (Brilliant Uncirculated) would do [coin collector
terminology] :)
or
'Minty' :)
Cheers,

Hi Darrell, I in no way insinuated that your items weren't 'mint' but as
a coin collector, 'Mint' to me means straight off the presses, untouched,
packaged, and then sold to a dealer/buyer as 'Mint', much like a new
in-the-box radio would be. I've bought a few 'mint' items that had
burned-out backlights, a scratch on the display, and even worse. I think
that people in general (not you) perhaps use the term too loosely and it
could cause issues among some sellers and buyers. Maybe this guy is on to
something?:

My humble apologies if I ruffled any feathers.

> Maybe I should have not used the word mint. It seems some interpret mint
to mean "new in the box" or "new old stock" which is what I would classify
something which has never been used. As for mint, I have always taken that
to mean an item looks like it did brand new, but has had some use. Both my
rigs are in great shape, no marks etc, non-smoking environment, but have
both been used.

I'm willing to demo in person at my QTH so the buyer can try what they are
getting.

am selling.
