The 9100 does go up to 1.2G (with an optional module) and is a little
larger than the mobile rigs, but it still lacks a few things I think most
of us would like to see-like a real time bandscope and true dual watch or
dual receive where you can at least listen to 2 different frequencies in
the same band at the same time, like the 756 series and the 7600 will do.

The touch screen is one thing I could definitely live without.  If nothing
else, I can see it to be problematic in that there is too great of a chance
to hit the wrong part, or accidently hit it at all, changing the band or
some other setting, loosing you a QSO.
