"Google" Roberto Nardo.
He makes non volatile replacement modules for the entire '51 series.
I have used them and they permanently solve the battery problems.
If you feel you do not want to do the installation (requires wiring
changes to the radios) then bring them to our luncheon and I will
install them for you and figure a way to get them back to you.
