When the signalink box is plugged into the acc connector, make sure you turn the mic gain down to zero through the menus. The mic gain control does not affect AFSK or PSK operation, but the mic does not mute during transmission.

The speech processor does not affect the incoming audio, either.

The beauty of using the rear acc connector as opposed to the headphone or external speaker jack is you can turn down the volume control without affecting the input audio to the signalink box. The input audio level is controlled by the receive audio knob on the signalink box.

I used the ACC plug for AFSK RTTY and WSJT for audio in and out with my 756PROIII and neither of these controls have any effect. On the PROIII I'd use the USB Digital position which also brought in to play a nice twin peak 350 Hz RX filter which was excellent for RTTY.
