[ICOM] Programming software for IC-2800H?

I did not look that close at the site. However, I would seriously doubt the same software for the 2800 and 2820. The IC-2800 was discontinued with the IC-27XX series some time ago and was not D-Star. As you know, ICOM, and for that matter all manufacturers are notorious for "upgrading" (read proprietary) their software and accessories for each radio.

The highfields site below shows use of the Icom CS-2800 software to program the IC-2820.

Could it be that the IC-2820 software will program the IC-2800?  I am not familiar with the IC-2800 and its capabilities. The Russian site shows files of differing sizes for 2800 and 2820.
