[ICOM] Icom IC-HM7 microphone parts needed.

John,
If you don't find an HM-7, the SM-8 desk mic has a switchable amplifier
built in and it will properly drive the IC-730 or look about for a SM-6
desk mic which also works. The SM-5 desk mic amplifier's level is to
low. Now that all being said inside of the IC-730 manual is the HM-7
schematic. You will see its a single ended 1 transistor amplifier that
should also be easy to duplicate. Seems to me the mic element was a
dynamic type for the HM-7. The newer Icom mics do not have proper drive
level for the older rigs. Bob Heil may also make a mic for the older Icoms.
