Floyd,
Have you checked the front end to see if any protecting diodes have not been
"taken out"? If they are OK, have you checked the first RF amplifier? If
either of these
have been damaged, this could result in your lack of sensitivity.
If they turn out to be the problem and they are surface mounted, you may
want to send the unit to ICOM. If not, try to find equivalent parts and
substitute them.
