[ICOM] Running mobile with some CW problems

Well, then it's got to be a RF issue.

Connect a body ground from the tab on the radio to the frame of the van.
I've had antenna autotuner issues until I grounded the body of the radio to
the car directly.

Or, you have an antenna RF issue.

I've had low voltage problems in the past, but no RF bite.

Hi Kent,

Was using it with the van running. The head was not remote mounted, but was
attached to the body of the rig. This is not a permanent mount. I don't
drive that much, and this is the only rig I have. It was sitting on the
counsel between the two seats, no grounding on the rig, but never had this
problem with other rigs in the same setup.
