[ICOM] IC-761

Hi all,

I've had an IC-761 for a couple of weeks now and really like it. Unfortunately, someone has removed one of the 500Hz filters from the radio and probably sold it. If I want dual filtering, do I have to install the missing filter (an FL-52A) or could I install an Inrad 250Hz filter in the optional slot in the 455 IF? That would give me 500Hz at the 9MHz IF and 250Hz I could switch in at the 455kHz IF. Is that a good idea?
