[ICOM] Tough Icom rigs

John,

You need to go back a little further. I have an IC-735 that I bought in 1986
and it has a metal case with a molded plastic front panel.
The IC-730 and IC-740 have similiar construction.

P.S: I learned to drive with a model "T". It was all metal except the tires
and radiator hoses. The seats even felt like it...(:->
