[ICOM] What happened to Adam.

Morning Gary,

While the FT-817 is getting kinda old, it still is one of the very best out
there. I have a 703+ and an 817. While both have their purpose if I had to
sell one, the 703+ would be sold.

Had Elecraft thought about really including 2m and 70cm in the KX3, I would
be waiting for one right this moment.

What I really hope for is a reasonably upgraded IC-703+/FT-817/KX3 style
radio covering 160m through 23cm (including 222 and 900 MHz) with all modes.
I swore off Kenwood years ago, but if they did it first, I could be teased
into buying my first Kenwood since 1982. Yup - 30 years without a Kenwood.
Guess they pissed me off. <grin>.

Are you listening ICOM??? The 9100 is a good start. Now make it 5 to
10-watts and SHRINK it!!!

Vy73 - Mike - KD9KC. El Paso, Texas - DM61rt.

HEY - PLEASE vote for my QSL card. www.arrlwgd.org/contest/ Thanks.

Adam is at Dayton. i was just on Icom's web page they are doing a live
broadcast and he is talking ,but no video just sound, apparently someone
had not turned on the camera when i was online.
me I was hopeful of another QRP radio forthcoming but likely not this
year.
