[ICOM] IC-2720 Serial Numbers Question

THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM FOR WATCH MAKERS, ie rolex, ! Nothing new, need to buy from a certified dealer.

I had received the notice about the counterfeit 
microphones from Icom some time back but never 
saw anything about rigs! 

I guess I should have asked for the serial number 
before bidding!

I don't know if I will have recourse from seller, 
but may have some from eBay and PayPal since the 
unit was NOT a genuine Icom product! 

Whatever happens, it will likely take a long time!
