Yes, it is the HM-133 microphone and works just like that on 2 meters - but not on the 440MHz side!

I don't remember which microphone is on the IC-2710H. Many of the Icom
radios use the HM-133 microphone.
There is a button on the HM-133 microphone that turns the DTMF function on.
It has green writing on it and as I remember a green LED turns on when the
DTMF function is selected.
