Icom Reflector group:
I have enough information now on adjusting the bias on the soon to be
replaced driver. The information from VA7OJ coupled with two of your
procedures for adjusting the bias current ( 1 amp per device ), slightly
varying in how and where to read the current, will allow us to get the job
done. Unfortunately RF Parts wants a minimum order of $25 plus shipping,
and Chinese vendors only want $3 each plus $3 shipping, but there is a 14
day shipping delay getting the parts to me. A local person has the drivers
but we can not get them yet (long story), so we are without drivers. I
wanted two, one for a future backup, in case the currently working one
becomes defective. Again, THANKS to those who replied.

Subject: [ICOM] bias setting on driver RD15HVF1
Group:
Have one of the drivers out on the PROIII, the RD15HVF1. I do NOT have a
tech manual. When I have installed the new driver transistor what is the
bias setting procedure?
