Thomas, What output power do you get when on ssb you just whistle a steady note into the microphone? by this, I mean with the mic dorectly connected to the mic input and no aux eqpt involved, and the rig into a 50 Ohm dummy load?

I have a Pro II that has changed some as far as output power. At one time it
put out 100 watts PEP on SSB and 100 watts on CW on 160-6 meters.
It is now putting out around 75 watts PEP on SSB and 125 watts on CW on
160-6 meters. Not huge changes but changes just the same.
I get the same readings on my outboard Autek Research WM-1 into a dummy
load. Also the same output on different microphones.
Has anyone else seen this before?
