2 meter FM transceiver, HF Solid State Amplifier, Active
Audio Filter, Speaker Microphones, Amplifier Saver, Charger,
Manuals, Coax Switches and other Miscellaneous For Sale:

Icom IC-229 H, 2 meter mobile transceiver

The Icom IC-229 H is a 2 meter FM mobile transceiver
providing 50 watts of power. There is also a setting for
25, 10, or 5 watts output when less power is needed. The
LCD display is easy to read. This radio has 20 memories
and priority watch. It also has programmed scanning or
memory scanning. This radio requires 13 V DC at 10 amps,
measures 5.5 x 1.6 x 6.1 inches, and weighs 2.2 lbs.

Features:
* SubAudible (CTCSS, PL) tones
* 20 Memories
* Priority Watch
* Call Channel
* Memory Skip
* Scan
* Backlit LCD
* Receive 138-174 MHz
* 4 RF Output Levels

This particular unit has extremely low power output in
all power positions. I am 99% sure that the problem is
the output power module. It receives great and functions
fine in all other respects. It was used for packet and
does not include a microphone. Cosmetically, it is in
nice condition. It does have a bulb burned out. $60

Ameritron ALS-600 HF Solid State No Tune Amplifier:
-
This is a solid state, HF no tune linear amplifier, including
coverage of the WARC bands, and is supplied with a separate
power supply. It is a great match to Icom gear.

Features:
No Tubes - all solid state
Instant band switching, no tuning, no warm up
Output Power 600 Watts PEP, 500 Watts CW
Continuous HF Coverage
SWR Protection
Over Power Protection
Extremely quiet low speed fan
Very Compact
Illuminated Cross-Needle SWR/Wattmeter
Operate / Standby Switch
Transmit, ALC & SWR LED indicators
Step Start Inrush Protection
Power Supply has voltage & current cross needle meter

This is a really great amplifier. It has full output, working
100%. The amp proper looks extremely nice, although a bit of
the very bottom of the laxan panel on the power supply has a
bubble. It ends up on the floor out of sight anyhow, so does
not mater.

With paper work for $900.

Autek QF-1 A, Active Audio Filter:

This is an audio filter that goes between your rig and speaker.
It runs off of 110 V AC or 13 Volt DC, and will peak, notch, or
become a low pass or high pass filter. Selectivity (bandwidth)
and frequency are adjustable from the front panel. This is the
"A" model that also has an additional notch filter added.
The input is an 1/4 inch phone plug, and the output is a 1/4
inch jack on the rear panel.

This particular unit works 100%, and looks very, very nice.
I can not find a scratch on it.

With paper work for $50.

HT Speaker Microphones:

All of these have the 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm plugs on them,
as used by Icom, Alinco, Radio Shack, some Yaesu, and
other HTs.

as well as others. It has a 3 conductor 3.5 mm plug and a 2
conductor 2.5 mm plug.
It works fine, and looks close to new. $15

MFJ 216 Deluxe "Amplifier Saver":

Amplifier Saver lets you safely tune up your linear amplifier
for full power output and best linearity. It protects your
expensive amplifier during tune-ups from over-heating, tube
damage, power supply stress and arc-over. MFJs innovative
pulse tuning technology lets you tune your amplifier at full
peak output power. It can also be used to evaluate wattmeters
and QSK systems.

It plugs into your rigs CW key jack. Simply press Pulse Tune
button and tune your amplifier normally for maximum power
output. It has Duty Cycle and Pulse Rate controls on front
panel, and is in a fully shielded all metal case. Uses 9 V
battery and measures a compact 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 4 inches.

This unit works fine and looks very close to new. MFJ sells
these for $80. But this one for $60.

Icom Battery Charger:

Icom BC-127 A, Battery Charger for Icom IC-Q7A Dual Band HT:
This charger charges two AA NiCads (or NiMH) for the
IC-Q7 A Dual band HT, and Icom R-2 receiver, and probably
others.
This appears to be new, unused, still in its bag.
Icom lists them at $21. Buy this one for $12.

Wall Wart Power supplies:

All are standard "non-switching" types, with no noise like
the switching types have.

AEA AC-1 "Wall Wart" Power Supply
This "Wall wart" power supply will supply 12 V DC at
up to 1 amp.
It can be used with the AEA PK-232, PK-88 or others.
This unit has a 2.1 mm plug, with the center positive,
so it can be used on many different things that require
12 V DC at up to an amp, such as keyers, antenna tuners,
etc. $14

Yaesu NC-18 B Charger
Provides 14.5 V DC at 50 ma to charge many different HTs,
including the Yaesu FT-411, FT-811, FT-911, FT-23, FT-209,

This is a pack that is used on the Icom µ2AT, Icom µ4AT, and
on other HTs that use the BP-20, BP-21, BP-22, BP-23 and BP-24
battery packs. It takes 13 V DC (such as from a cigarette
lighter), and converts it to the 9.4 V DC voltage needed for
the HT. It is used in place of a battery. This one works
fine and looks fine.  $18

Icom BP-21 and Icom BP-22
Neither of these battery packs hold a charge and are sold
for rebuilding, for using the case, etc. $7 each

MFJ "Strip Line" Coaxial antenna switches:

Both of these antenna switches are in a heavy diecast housing

very close to 50 ohms. It also permits good operation at
higher frequencies up to 500 MHz, and gives over 50 db
isolation. Unused antenna are grounded, with an additional
position to ground all antennas. SO-239 connectors.

MFJ 1704 Coax Switch
Will switch up to 4 antennas, and has lightning protection built
