Hi Gary,
I have another suggestion, why not deal with the problem at source? I
have put soft key
mods in a number of amplifiers, and would recommend you do the same.
Chances are, any
future rig that amp comes in contact with will have similar issues so
why not render it safe
for all future possibilities? Check the Harbach site for schematics. I
suspect that putting the
soft key mod in the amp will be cheaper than putting a relay in a box
etc. And the solid state
devices won't likely wear out like a relay can. (Unlikely, I know, but
possible).
If you have trouble coming up with the circuit, let me know and I will
dig it up for you.
