[ICOM] Icom IC-2KL 10m kit / mod

Basically the 10 meter bandpass filter, needed a relay, capacitors and
coils, jumper or two, led for the display, it will work without that or
a new switch but only will go to 10 meters when connected to an Icom or
something that simulated the 10 meter switching voltage.

I wonder if Icom still has the sheet that describes how to reinstall the
10 meter modification, that would at least tell you more. During my
working days at Icom we did over the modification sheet with photos and
such, it was a lot better than the original.

Say contact Kuni Okuma at http://www.w7jv.com/ he has services a lot of
2KL's over the years. I'd bet he could tell you what you need. Winding
the coils should not be too hard especially if you have a means of
checking the microhenery size. Probably the hardest thing would be
coming up with the relay if Icom does not have those, again Kuni could
tell you.
