Sounds like you might have an intermittent somewhere. Any piece of coax
subject to any flexing at anytime? Time to try new separate pieces of coax
to each box, check all grounds, etc

Oddly... last night it started working... for about an hour... now it's back
to not working again.
(I drove three hours last night and had plenty of time to try.)
