Hi Gary,

There is already an informal Icom users' group which meets every Sunday on
14316 kHz, starting at 1700Z. You are welcome to check in there.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Subject: [ICOM] 775DSP Owner's

Hello To The Icom Reflector:
I would like to start a list of 775DSP owner's with your callsign, name and
serial number of your 775DSP. If you own more than one please list both. The
reason I.m doing this is first I think the IC-775DSP was one of the best
rigs ever made. I would like to see how many responses I get because I'm
thinking about starting a Icom User's net and thought it would be nice to
have all the 775DSP owner's into a database, That way if anyone has any
questions about their rigs there would be help from other user's like
checking audio or how to setup certain things from the menu's. Also if you
have a parted out 775DSP which I hope you don't that would be a parts
availability for others I thought that your serial number could be your net
number. The Collins owner's have their own net so I thought an Icom user's
net would help Icom owner's with problems. You wouldn't have to have a
775DSP to checkin. Any Icom owner would be welcome as would other owner's of
non-icom rigs. I did have few replies yesterday which was really nice. If
there is not enough response I probably won't try a net. So if your
interested in starting a net
please email me with the above information and we'll go from there. It's
also nbice to see how many of those fine 775DSP's are on the air. Thanks
again very much. Gary Thostenson W9VS badgers at ticon.net
