While 220 and 902 coverage would be nice, 220 is a ham band only in 
region 2, so there's no domestic market for it in JA nor, do I believe, 
in EU.
Not sure about 902 MHz.

The only Japanese-manufactured radios that have 220 coverage (that I'm 
aware of) is the TH-F6A handheld and a mobile by Alinco.  Both are FM only.
