[ICOM] Icom 756PRO as a CW contest rig

I have the K3 and the IC-7700.  I LOVE the 7700 and can't make myself even 
LIKE the K3 yet.  I am NOT a CW operator, so you must take that with a grain 
of salt as I think you said you wanted a good CW rig.  It looks to me like, 
and others have told me it's true, that the 7700 makes a fine CW rig.  I 
know it is the best RTTY rig I have EVER used, in my near 40 years of using 
the mode.  My ONLY nit with the 7700 is how the built in encoder/decoder 
sends RTTY, which is a travesty is such a good rig.  It is as good on SSB as 
any other rig I have ever had, except, maybe the FTDX9000 Contest sitting 
here.  K3 is FAR behind the 9000 on SSB receive IMHO.

There is a LARGE difference in what each rig costs.  The 7700 has no second 
receiver OR dual watch, K3 has two excellent receivers.  You have to 
determine how much you can or will spend and which features on each you just 
have to have.
