Yup - the 28-38-48 series too.
In the past I have had some luck in disassembling the pot and reworking it.
It isn't too hard - but thinking of the price you can get a used radio for,
I am not sure I would go through all that again. I was just a poor soldier
at the time.

Hello Icom List:
I've a chance at an Icom 38A that "has a squelch
issue", but have not been able to observe the issue firsthand. After
reading of the 3200 and the other post on the 27/37 series squelch pot nla
now wondering if the 38A has the same part/problem? Something tells me a
shot of Deoxit will not fix the issue. Anyone advice?
