Gary,

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at your suggestions, and I like the
first one best, as it has low parts count, and I have most of the items.
The second one the parts count is pretty high, but Far Circuit who lives
within 3 mi of my QTH has the board. In the 3rd link, I started an email
dialog with Doug VK4ADC and he has something that I would prefer, but
his is not a commercial product. He might be willing to provide me a
partial board though.

Decisions, decisions.

Thanks again,

And Best Regards,

Jim T.

Seems to me I once saw an article where an enterprising ham used the
band switching voltages to switch an antenna relay. For the life of me I
can't remember where.
The voltages are published, even the parts on the schematic of like the
AT-100, AT-150, AT-500, 2KL all depended on the transceiver sent band
switching voltage to change bands.
I don't remember about the IC-4KL though. I don't think it would be to
hard to duplicate the circuit providing the chips are still available
Icom used.
I don't remember them being special either.

You might do a Google search on Band Voltage switched antenna switching
or a variation of that.
Wow here is one already

Another using the band voltage

PICAXE one that uses the CI-V I think

Google search phrase below there seem to be many that pop up Icom
automatic antenna switching
