It would give one a sense of "all's well with the world" if they at least agreed, but
that still doesn't say anything about accuracy. You could check against a Bird 43,
which I think most hams think of as a standard, but is only accurate to 5% at full scale.
If one reads a lot differently (however you define "lot"), and it really bothers you,
a trip to the repair bench might be in order.
