Larry,
It seems to have fixed itself for now. I assume you mean just turn
off the tuner when you say remover from circuit which I did. 756 tuner
is built in, not an optional plug in unit.that can be removed. No clue
what is going on. Icom's are notorious for weak protection from ESD.
Blowing dust in the dry west can blow the tuner and cause very low
output but RX is fine.
