[ICOM] R71A Problems

Gary,
I have used the PIEXX Non-Volatile RAM module in the 751A but it also works
in the R71A. It costs $59 new. The battery on the module only maintains
the memory channel data. The "personality", if you will, is stored in the
NVRAM so it isn't lost when the battery dies or is removed. The radio will
continue to work with a dead or missing battery.
