[ICOM] Need IC-765 Assistance

I see that you've solved your problem but I want to describe in detail
how I fixed mine.

First, the existing light will pull out from the grommet with a bit of
effort and wiggling. I bought a white LED (276-017) from Radio Shack.
Had to file off the shoulder so that it would fit into the grommet. I
put a 510 ohm resistor in series with the one of the LED leads to limit
the current.

It works great.
