[ICOM] Need IC-765 Assistance

And Frank and Dave during my time there I never saw any specification on 
the meter and display lamp voltage and current requirements, we however 
were asked about that a lot. Someone at the factory had to know because 
that how most of those little lamps are sold but in the publications we 
had access to, more than just the service manuals,
it was not specified.

Some folks have discussed LED replacements in great detail on this list over the years, and that's your choice of course. The last time I bought the lamp assembly from ICOM America it was $4.50 or $5.00 if I remember correctly, but it is an assembly - the bulb with the molded rubber grommet complete with new, long leads - not just a light bulb. It will maintain the "stock" condition of the rig, if that's important to you.
