[ICOM] Reasonable price for IC-970A with UX-R96

Hi Tom,
There is plenty of 2.4 activity in my neighbourhood...Wi-Fi Channels 3, 6, 8
and 11 are all in use and show up on my detection program. <g>
One of our local clubs is using Wi-Fi channels which fall into the 2.4 GHz
amateur band for a point-to-point unencrypted high-speed data link carrying
DX cluster traffic and other data related to the club and ham radio
activities. Directional antennas, HPA's and LNA's at both ends guarantee >
10 dB fade margin over a 10 km knife-edge path. This sort of operation may
be the best way to retain the 2.4 GHz amateur allocation.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Well, I'd LOVE to have one ... so any leads, contacts etc would be most
appreciated.
Not a lot of 2.4 activity here but would just like to have it all for this
unit ....
We are just starting to get some REAL Weak Signal activity going out here in
far west forgottenn El Paso, Texas ....
