I certainly agree ... this is one of the BEST VHF/UHF Radios Icom ever made
.... I'm still looking for the 2.4 Gig module just to have it ... Mine is a
IC-970H (Yea a bit higher power, sold my IC-970A) has ALL the modules except
the 2.4 Gig ... and I'd LOVE to find one ... but it works EVERYDAY and has
NEVER Failed me .... a 970A should go for about a Grand .... they are a MOST
Reliable unit ... nice size too next to a R-9000 or a IC-781 !!!
